Journée internationale du procès équitable – Déclaration commune sur la situation en Égypte

Le 14 juin 2022 a marqué la Journée internationale du procès équitable (JIPE), observée pour la deuxième fois dans le monde. Cette année, le pays ciblé par la Journée internationale du procès équitable était l’Égypte, un pays qui souffre depuis de nombreuses années de violations systématiques des droits de l’homme et d’une grave absence de normes en matière de procès équitable.

À l’occasion de la JIPE, attirant l’attention sur la détérioration de la situation dans le pays, les organisations soussignées appellent les autorités égyptiennes à prendre immédiatement les mesures nécessaires pour respecter le droit à un procès équitable en Égypte et à créer un environnement dans lequel ces droits procéduraux fondamentaux peuvent être effectivement protégés. Les organisations soussignées appellent également la communauté internationale à accroître ses efforts pour attirer l’attention sur la situation en Égypte, en mettant l’accent sur le respect du droit à un procès équitable.
